As a contractor to the Energy Trust of Oregon, Cascade's experience and expertise has provided technical studies and evaluations of solar projects by clients and customers. Among these are a shading evaluation of high-rise residential buildings proposed with solar photovoltaic systems, and an evaluation of the solar water heating potential of an athletic club.

Cascade also provides technical training for solar photovoltaic contractors, solar water heating contractors, and Energy Trust solar inspectors.
